Jane Fleiss currently teaches Camera Fundamentals and Advanced Acting for the Camera in The Academy's Full-Time Conservatory and Summer programs.
Jane trained with Stella Adler while at NYU School of the Arts and upon graduation she began her career as a contract player for the NBC Daytime drama The Doctors. She subsequently appeared onstage, in feature films and on television both in New York and Los Angeles. Her TV credits include Guest Starring appearances in Grey’s Anatomy, ER, Without A Trace, Crossing Jordan and The Guardian among others. Broadway: Fifth of July, Crimes of the Heart, Strange Interlude, I'm Not Rappaport, Of Mice and Men, Getting Married, Search and Destroy, My Thing of Love, and An Inspector Calls (Joseph Jefferson nomination). She played leading roles in many Regional Theatres and received LA Drama-Logue Awards for Molly Sweeney (Mark Taper Forum), Ghost in the Machine (South Coast Rep) and Springtime for Henry (Globe Theatre).
Ms. Fleiss is also on the faculty of The Art of Acting Studio/Los Angeles where she teaches Acting Technique and Scene Study. In addition to her work with Stella Adler, Ms. Fleiss also studied with Uta Hagen, John Barton and Cicely Berry (Royal Shakespeare C0.), and Sir Peter Hall. She is a member of the Actors Studio.

Prospective students are invited to take part in a free acting workshop taught by Academy Master Acting Instructor, Jane Fleiss.
Experience training from one of The Academy's master instructors
Learn to explore a relaxed, free, truthful use of self in imaginary circumstances
Learn exercises for spontaneity, concentration and acting on your natural impulses
